Simple Ways to Save Money

Sometimes it seems that it is so hard to get from paycheck to paycheck that it is hard to even imagine saving money. There are lots of things that people can do to save money that are not that difficult and dont leave you feeling deprived after you get your paycheck.
It is not that difficult to arrange for automatic deposits of your paycheck into different accounts. Find an amount that is comfortable for you and have it automatically deposited into an account separate from your checking account. Chances are you wont miss what you dont see coming in weekly anyhow and even a small amount will add up. You can also make your savings a bill you pay and as you pay your monthly bills put aside an amount to go to your savings.
If you get reimbursed for out of pocket expenses put that in your savings account. You have already paid that amount out and it is an easy way to add a little to your savings. Another easy way to save is to not spend any of your change. As you get change put it all in a bank and save it up. Change adds up quicker than youd think. You can also add a little cash to the pile by rounding up when you write checks and taking that change and stashing it in your bank for later.
Saving is a good way to change your attitude. Saving even a few dollars each week helps to fill the void that sometimes drives us to spend. Something of everything that you earn should be yours to keep. Even if it is just a little at a time, it adds up and you will have a fat savings account before you realize it.
